This product is a two-component system consisting of a liquid polymer emulsion and a powder made of cement and mineral fillers. The two components are mixed on site before application.
The elastomeric cementitious waterproofing coating combines the hardness and mechanical strength of cement with the flexibility of polymer materials. Cement provides compressive strength and puncture resistance, while the polymer phase contributes elasticity and crack-bridging capability.
The system achieves an elongation of 100%–200%. Although this is lower than pure acrylic coatings, it provides higher mechanical strength, making it suitable for applications requiring structural durability.
Application Scope and Limitations
This elastomeric cementitious waterproofing coating performs well on damp substrates. It can be applied on surfaces with moisture, provided there is no standing water, making it suitable for bathrooms, basements, and similar environments.
The coating forms a strong bond with concrete substrates, effectively eliminating voids and preventing water migration channels. It is water-based, non-toxic, and odor-free, making it safe for indoor applications.
It is also suitable for drinking water tanks.
However, the product is not suitable for long-term UV exposure, as ultraviolet radiation may degrade the material over time. Therefore, it should not be used on exposed roofs unless it is protected by tiles or a mortar covering layer.
