Most waterproofing products are designed for the water-facing side only. Our tanking membrane paint is designed for both positive and negative waterproofing applications.
It can be applied on either the exterior (water-facing side) or interior (dry side), making it suitable for flexible construction conditions.
It is widely used in basement waterproofing, including floors, retaining walls, and roof slabs.
Once applied, the coating forms a dense, continuous membrane that resists hydrostatic pressure. Groundwater exerts pressure on structures, and this system effectively resists that force.
It also prevents dampness, eliminating wet spots on basement floors, wall condensation, and mold growth.
Performance in Wet Basement Conditions
Basements are continuously exposed to moisture, including damp concrete surfaces and high humidity environments. Many conventional coatings fail under these conditions, leading to powdering, peeling, or blistering.
Our tanking membrane paint is designed for long-term performance in such environments. It maintains adhesion and integrity under persistent damp conditions.
The coating is also resistant to the high alkalinity of concrete and does not degrade in contact with cement-based substrates.
In addition, it withstands freeze-thaw cycles, making it suitable for underground structures in varying climates.
It can be applied to damp concrete surfaces, provided there is no standing water, eliminating the need for full substrate drying.
Cold-Applied System and Factory Support
This tanking membrane paint is a cold-applied waterproofing system. No torch, flame, or gas is required, making it safe for enclosed basement environments with low odor and no fire risk.
