Most waterproof paints block everything-they block liquid water and also trap water vapor inside the wall. This can cause problems. The trapped vapor builds pressure behind the coating, leading to blistering and peeling. It can also result in mold growth.
Our waterproof breathable masonry paint is different. It prevents liquid water from entering while allowing water vapor to pass through. The water vapor transmission rate is ≥100 g/m²/24 h, so the wall can breathe naturally. No blistering. No peeling. No mold. No efflorescence. This product is designed for brick walls, block walls, and aerated concrete surfaces.
How This Waterproof Breathable Masonry Paint Covers Cracks
Our waterproof breathable masonry paint has high elasticity, with elongation ≥200%. It can bridge cracks up to 2 mm wide. Brick walls naturally develop small cracks due to temperature changes and structural settling. Ordinary paints crack when the substrate moves. This coating remains flexible and stretches without cracking.
The product is water-based with low VOC and has no strong odor, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It can be applied to damp surfaces as long as there is no standing water, so complete drying of the wall is not required.
