This product is different from other coatings. It does not simply sit on the surface. It penetrates into the concrete. Our cementitious crystalline waterproof coating contains active chemicals. When mixed with water, it forms a paste. You brush it onto wet concrete. The chemicals penetrate into the concrete pores and react with the cement. They form crystals, which fill the pores and block water pathways. As a result, the concrete becomes waterproof from the inside. This is a permanent change. The crystals will not disappear and will last as long as the concrete itself.
How This Cementitious Crystalline Waterproof Coating Self-Heals Cracks
Our cementitious crystalline waterproof coating has self-healing capability. If cracks form later, water enters the cracks and activates the remaining chemicals. These chemicals become active again and form new crystals, which fill and seal the cracks. This self-healing function works for cracks up to 0.4 mm wide. The coating also improves concrete strength by 15% to 25%. It enhances freeze-thaw resistance and protects the embedded steel from corrosion. It can be safely used in water tanks, including drinking water tanks, as it is non-toxic.
Easy Application and Factory Commitment
The cementitious crystalline waterproof coating is applied to wet concrete. A dry surface is not required. No primer or protective layer is needed. After curing, tiles or mortar can be applied directly on top.
