The PE PP composite waterproof membrane is widely used in residential construction due to its cost efficiency and reliable performance.
The core layer consists of HDPE, with polypropylene non-woven fabric laminated on both sides. This environmentally friendly material is suitable for concealed waterproofing applications.
However, the membrane should not be exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods. A protective mortar layer is required after installation.
It is commonly used in bathrooms, basements, balconies, and small water tanks, where concealed waterproofing is required.
How This PE PP Composite Waterproof Membrane Bonds to Cement Substrates
This membrane is installed using a cement-based adhesive slurry.
The adhesive is applied to a damp substrate (without standing water), after which the membrane is pressed firmly into place. It bonds strongly with the cement layer and becomes fully integrated with the substrate, preventing bubbling or detachment.
Surface drying is not required before installation, provided that there is no visible standing water. This makes it particularly suitable for basement and bathroom applications, where surfaces often remain slightly moist.

The membrane is available in thicknesses of 0.5mm, 0.7mm, 0.9mm, and 1.2mm, with roll lengths of 50m or 100m.
It offers tensile strength ≥60 N/50mm, elongation ≥80%, and remains stable at temperatures as low as -20°C.
We provide a 1-year warranty, free samples for testing, and OEM customization services. The minimum order quantity is 100 square meters per specification.
We currently employ approximately 30 production staff and maintain an in-house laboratory for quality testing.
Our products have been used in large infrastructure projects, including China Railway and China State Construction.
