Sunlight and UV radiation can severely damage roof coatings. Many materials degrade, chalk, or crack under long-term exposure. Our acrylic based waterproofing paint is designed for excellent UV resistance and long-term outdoor durability.
It is formulated with an acrylic ester copolymer emulsion. This material provides strong resistance to UV radiation, preventing powdering, fading, and cracking. The coating is water-based, low odor, and low VOC, making it environmentally friendly and safe for application.
It can be applied on concrete roofs, mortar roofs, and color steel roofs, and can also be applied over existing waterproofing layers.
Heat Reflectivity and Energy Saving Performance
This acrylic based waterproofing paint is available in light colors with high solar reflectivity. It helps reflect sunlight and reduces heat absorption, keeping roof surfaces cooler and reducing indoor temperatures. This can help lower air-conditioning energy consumption.
The coating has excellent elasticity, with elongation of over 300%. It accommodates thermal expansion and contraction of the roof structure during seasonal temperature changes, preventing cracking and leakage.
It also bridges hairline cracks up to 2 mm in width and provides strong adhesion to various substrates. In most applications, no primer is required.
Water Resistance and Factory Information
This acrylic based waterproofing paint provides excellent resistance to rainwater and ponding water. It does not soften or wash off after curing.
It maintains low-temperature flexibility from -10°C to -20°C and heat resistance from 80°C to 90°C.
