Underground water tanks are subject to two types of hydrostatic pressure: internal water pressure acting outward and external groundwater pressure acting inward. Our underground water tank waterproofing paint is designed to resist both conditions.
It is suitable for buried water tanks, fire water tanks, industrial storage tanks, and potable water tanks.
The coating is compliant with drinking water safety standards and does not release harmful substances, ensuring long-term water quality protection.
It also provides antimicrobial protection to inhibit algae and mold growth, helping maintain hygienic water storage conditions.
Internal Waterproofing Performance under Bidirectional Pressure
In most cases, external waterproofing is difficult for buried structures due to surrounding soil conditions. Therefore, internal (negative-side) waterproofing becomes essential.
Our underground water tank waterproofing paint is specifically formulated for internal application. It effectively resists external groundwater pressure even when applied from the inside of the structure.
The coating forms a dense, rigid barrier that penetrates concrete pores while maintaining limited flexibility. This allows it to accommodate minor structural movement and settlement without cracking or loss of adhesion.
As a result, the waterproofing system remains stable under long-term bidirectional pressure conditions.
Enclosed Structure Safety and Factory Support
Underground tanks are enclosed environments with limited ventilation and no direct sunlight exposure. Our underground water tank waterproofing paint is designed for such conditions.
