Technical Parameters
Polymer cement waterproof coating is a two-component waterproofing system consisting of a liquid polymer emulsion and a dry powder component.
The liquid component contains polymer emulsion and functional additives. The powder component consists of hydraulic cement and graded fine aggregates.
The two components are mixed on-site to form a homogeneous slurry, which is then applied by brush, roller, or trowel to form a continuous waterproof layer after curing.
The system is water-based, low odor, and environmentally friendly, and is suitable for both interior and exterior waterproofing applications.
System Classification and Performance Grades
This product is available in two performance grades:
Type I – Flexible Grade
Type I exhibits elongation greater than 200%, providing enhanced flexibility and crack-bridging capability.
It is suitable for roofing systems and exterior wall applications where substrate movement and thermal deformation are expected.
Type II – High-Strength Grade
Type II provides higher mechanical strength with tensile strength exceeding 1.8 MPa and elongation of approximately 80%.
It is suitable for bathrooms, water tanks, and other interior waterproofing applications requiring high durability and compressive resistance.
Both grades provide excellent adhesion to concrete, mortar, and ceramic tile substrates and are compatible with direct tile installation without additional surface treatment.
Application Conditions and System Advantages
The system can be applied on damp substrates, provided there is no standing water.
This allows for efficient construction without extended drying time requirements.
Once cured, the coating forms a dense, durable waterproof membrane that is resistant to prolonged water exposure and maintains adhesion without softening or delamination.
