Foundations are permanently exposed to soil moisture and hydrostatic pressure. Groundwater continuously exerts pressure on concrete structures, seeking pathways to penetrate the building envelope.
This self-adhesive foundation membrane is designed specifically to resist such conditions in foundation walls, base slabs, and basement structures.
The membrane features a high-performance self-adhesive layer. It is applied by peeling off the release film and bonding directly to the concrete surface. The adhesive layer conforms to surface irregularities, sealing micro-pores and preventing water migration pathways.
It can be applied under damp conditions without requiring a completely dry substrate, making it suitable for underground construction environments.
High Resistance to Mechanical Damage During Construction
Foundation construction sites are subject to heavy mechanical stress, including rebar placement, foot traffic, and the presence of gravel or sharp aggregates.
This self-adhesive foundation membrane is designed with high mechanical strength and puncture resistance. Available thickness options include 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm, and 3.0 mm.
The membrane maintains structural integrity under site conditions, resisting puncture from rebar and sharp stones, thereby reducing the risk of post-installation leakage and repair costs.
The adhesive layer retains long-term bonding performance and does not dry out or lose adhesion over time.
