EPDM single-ply roofing membranes are manufactured from ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber.
The material is compounded with curing agents and performance additives, then processed through mixing, pressing, and vulcanization to form a thermoset rubber membrane.
As a thermoset material, EPDM cannot be re-melted or heat-welded. Seam installation is achieved using high-performance adhesive systems, forming durable bonded joints.
The system is widely recognized for its long service life, typically ranging from 25 to 50 years under outdoor exposure conditions.
It exhibits excellent resistance to UV radiation, ozone, and weathering, making it suitable for long-term roofing applications.
Low-Temperature Flexibility and Structural Performance
This EPDM single-ply roofing membrane maintains exceptional flexibility at temperatures as low as -40°C.
It is particularly suitable for cold climate regions such as Northeast China, Russia, and Canada.
The membrane offers elongation at break ≥450%, allowing it to accommodate significant structural movement without cracking or tearing.
In addition, EPDM is a low-density material, reducing roof dead load compared with traditional bituminous systems.
The material is also environmentally safe and suitable for applications including potable water tanks and swimming pools.

Our factory has over 12 years of experience in waterproofing membrane production. We operate a 16,000 m² manufacturing facility with four production lines and an annual output of approximately 10 million square meters of membrane products.
We are ISO9001 certified and a member of the China Building Waterproof Association.
We provide OEM services, free samples, third-party inspection support, and a 1-year warranty. Each roll is fully inspected before shipment, with production records available upon request.
The minimum order quantity is 100 square meters per specification.
