Project conditions vary, and no single waterproofing material is suitable for all applications. Therefore, this Foundation Wall Membrane offers three material options to meet different engineering requirements.
The first option is SBS modified bitumen, providing high strength and flexibility.
The second option includes polymer-based systems such as PVC, TPO, and self-adhesive membranes, which are clean, solvent-free, and environmentally friendly.
The third option is a PE/PP composite membrane, offering a cost-effective solution for general applications.
All three systems are manufactured in our 16,000㎡ facility with over 12 years of production experience.
Installation Requirements for Foundation Wall Applications
The key requirement for any Foundation Wall Membrane is continuous full-surface adhesion, ensuring no voids or air pockets remain between the membrane and the substrate.
Special attention must be given to corners and junctions, which are critical weak points where water ingress typically occurs. Additional reinforcement layers should be applied at these locations.
After membrane installation, a protective layer must be installed to prevent mechanical damage from backfill soil and aggregates.
Installation methods vary by material type:
- SBS systems: torch-applied installation
- Polymer systems: cold adhesive or self-adhesive installation
- Composite systems: cement-based adhesive installation
Each method ensures reliable performance when correctly applied.
Resistance to Hydrostatic Pressure and Long-Term Durability
Foundation walls are continuously subjected to hydrostatic pressure from groundwater. This system is designed to provide high resistance to water penetration under sustained pressure conditions.
The membranes offer excellent impermeability and long-term durability in buried environments. They are resistant to aging and maintain performance over extended service life.
High tensile strength allows the system to accommodate minor structural settlement and movement without rupture or loss of waterproof integrity.
Our factory operates a 16,000㎡ production base with 30 staff members and an in-house laboratory. We are a vice chairman unit of the Hebei Building Waterproof Association.
We provide OEM services, free samples, and a 1-year warranty. The minimum order quantity is 100 square meters per specification.
