Product Description

When conducting waterproofing for external walls of basements and renovation of existing structures, the biggest concern is poor adhesion between the membrane and base layer leading to water channeling. Our post-applied waterproofing membrane is a self-adhesive waterproof membrane specially designed for post-paste construction. It uses high-performance cross-laminated film as the surface layer and special rubber bitumen as the viscoelastic adhesive layer. Simply peel off the separating film and directly bond it to the concrete base without open flame or primer, boosting construction efficiency by over 40% compared with traditional torch-on methods. This post-applied waterproofing membrane achieves full adhesion with the concrete base, effectively blocking lateral water migration paths-even partial damage will not cause large-scale water channeling. In multiple basement maintenance projects we have serviced, this product achieved a construction satisfaction rate of over 98%.

Traditional torch-on construction poses safety hazards in confined and enclosed spaces, and demands high proficiency from workers. Our post-applied waterproofing membrane adopts cold construction technology; only a utility knife and roller are required for installation, greatly lowering construction barriers and safety risks. The self-adhesive layer of the membrane boasts excellent self-healing performance, automatically sealing small puncture holes-an ideal feature to address common steel bar puncturing issues in underground works. The tear resistance of cross-laminated film is 3 times that of ordinary PE film, capable of withstanding impact and friction from backfill soil. For agents, this product features a wide range of applicable scenarios and low construction barriers, enabling quick adoption by your clients with minimal complaints, which naturally fosters sustained cooperation.

Quality Control

Our quality control focus for post-applied waterproofing membrane lies in the performance of the self-adhesive layer. Every batch undergoes testing of key indicators including peel strength, tack retention, heat resistance and low-temperature flexibility to guarantee stable bonding performance under various climatic conditions. The factory is equipped with a constant temperature and humidity testing laboratory simulating extreme temperatures ranging from -30℃ to 80℃. 100% visual inspection is conducted before delivery; any products with air bubbles, impurities or uneven thickness are rejected outright. We welcome third-party institutions designated by clients to conduct on-site inspections, with testing reports delivered together with goods. Within the 1-year warranty period, we will cover corresponding material and labor costs if bonding failure or other quality issues occur.

Payment Terms

We understand overseas purchasers' demand for flexible capital turnover and offer diverse payment plans. Standard orders adopt 30% advance payment + 70% balance payment, with the balance payable against copy of bill of lading to eliminate extra capital risks for you. Customized products require 50% advance payment + 50% balance payment to safeguard the interests of both parties. US dollar telegraphic transfer is supported, and other payment methods such as letters of credit can be negotiated upon your request. Tiered discounts apply to bulk orders-higher order quantities correspond to lower unit prices, with detailed discount ranges negotiable during quotation. Our goal is to establish long-term cooperative relationships rather than one-off transactions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can this membrane be directly bonded to damp concrete surfaces?

A: Yes. Our self-adhesive layer demonstrates good adaptability to damp base surfaces free of standing water, but the base must be cleared of ponding and laitance before construction.

Q: How to handle lap joints?

A: The membrane comes with self-adhesive lap edges; simply peel off the separating film and roll tightly, with lap width no less than 80mm. Special sealing compound is recommended for reinforcement at critical joints.

Q: How long after construction can backfill soil be placed?

A: Backfilling can start immediately after bonding completion and acceptance, with no curing waiting period required-this is a major efficiency advantage of self-adhesive membranes over torch-on membranes.

Q: What is the minimum order quantity?

A: The MOQ for each membrane model is 100㎡, with mixed loading of different models permitted as long as the total order volume meets requirements.
